About this tool
Fuel needed = distance × consumption, converted to litres. Cost = litres × price per litre. The price can be entered per litre, US gallon or UK gallon.
Real consumption depends on speed, load, traffic, terrain and weather, so treat the result as an estimate and add a safety margin. Tolls, parking and wear are not included.
